Before your appointment
A little prep makes a big difference.
First wax? Two minutes of prep. Unsure about any of it, just ask when you arrive.
Grow it out
Wax needs about a quarter inch of growth to grip, roughly two to three weeks. Don't shave beforehand.
Exfoliate, then ease off
Exfoliate gently a day or two before. Skip retinoids and acids for 48 hours on either side.
Give sun a rest
No fresh sunburn or tanning before. Skip direct sun and hot tubs for 24 hours after.
Rebook at four to six weeks
A regular cycle means finer regrowth and an easier wax. Brazilian Up Keep is priced for rebooking within six weeks.
Make a morning of it. Pair your wax with a custom organic facial or a head spa treatment.
Waxing questions
Before you book a wax
About a quarter inch, which is roughly two to three weeks of growth. Any shorter and the wax cannot grip the hair. Do not shave in the weeks before your appointment.
There is some discomfort, especially the first time, but it passes quickly. Proper wax temperature and technique make a real difference, and it gets noticeably easier once you are on a regular four to six week cycle.
Most guests stay smooth for three to four weeks, then rebook at the four to six week mark. Book the Brazilian Up Keep rate if you return within six weeks of your last Brazilian.
A Brazilian is $65, and the Brazilian Up Keep rate is $55 within six weeks of your last visit. Bikini Line is $40 and Bikini Full is $47. Every price is listed on this page and in the online booking menu.
